Responsibilities:
Develops, analyzes, programs and implements software applications in an enterprise-level environment. Will work under the technical leadership of a senior developer / Task lead and play a key role in migrating an existing complex Visual Basic application to .NET.
Must be able to work with broad guidance and minimal supervision. Will be part of a small, close-knit team. Knowledge of military health processes, GOTS software applications, and automotive parts industry experience is always a plus.
Requirements:
A minimum 5 years development, 2 years of object oriented development and design and 1 full year of .Net experience required. CompTIA Security+ Certification desired.
Excellent / proven skills in.Net, Visual Basic 6.0, JavaScript and Microsoft SQL Server required. Experience with converting applications to .Net highly desired. Experience in creating installation packages using InstallShield desired.
MCSD certification or MCP certification in.Net strongly desired. Previous involvement and experience with all phases of development with a focus on design and development including architectural design.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, or related fields. Microsoft .Net certifications a plus
Secret Clearance or ability to apply for / get a Secret clearance.
