Technology has provided answers to time saving alternatives. The state - of - the - art plant is equipped with machinery that cuts CR sheets from CR coils obtained from steel plants. The micro processor based automatic cold rolled sheets cum slitting line is imported from Austria. The advantage of this machine is, it can produce various combination of width and length of sheet from the same coil stock to the tonnage required by suitably programming the line. Before the cold roll process a 17 roller precision leveller is employed. The decoiling capabilities include cold roll coils, galvanized plain coils and stainless & alloy steel coils with thickness ranging from 0.4 mm to 3.5mm in CR sheets and, blanks with a width ranging from 100 mm to 1550 mm. The Pre-programmable Nesting Software produces blanks of 9 different sizes from a single sheet. The blanks of CR coils are made exactly as per customer specifications with an excellent finish. The Hot rolled plate shear lines can produce HR sheets of 1.6 - 16 mm thickness 1800 and 2000 mm width from mother coils.
The company puts into use high power EOT cranes which can carry coils weighing upto 30 tonnes. Electronic weigh bridge are installed that can weigh upto 60 tonnes. Gensets ensure that the entire factory keeps the production going even in times of load shedding. |
